Yes! It is the month of preparation for this years NaNoWriMo!
I’ve been absent from the blogging world for more than a week and I’m missing the daily updates and interaction. I guess it is my own fault as I’ve been preoccupied with preparation but I shouldn’t have neglected my followers! So apologies to you all!
So my news is that I am most definitely joining in with the thousands of other people who are going to write a 50’000 word novel in the month of November. I have no idea how I will fit in my 1’667 word count per day but I know I will be giving it a good go!
During the month of November, I will do weekly updates on how the process is going and whether I’m on target for my word count! That is a whole achievement in itself let alone actually winning!
If you want to know more about National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) please do ask. I do not know everything but I can at least try to answer any questions you may have.
Are you taking part? Have you done it before and most importantly what tips do you have for a first timer?

I’ve never done it and am not planning to get involved this year. I am nearing the end of a major project and hope to complete it by the end of the year. Good Luck!

Good luck! I tried it once a few years ago but didn’t make it to 50,000. Do you have a plan for what to write about? I think that’s the most important bit.

Yes, I have a story but most of the details I’m hoping will emerge as I write. I’ve got basic details sorted like characters etc but the story itself is still unknown! I will be led my my characters.

I’m a first timer too, and I am a little bit scared (but I am also really really excited about it!) so I wish you good luck! 🙂
