I’ve wanted to write a novel for a long time. When I was a child I would write stories on scraps of paper, read them and throw them in the bin never thinking they were good enough. I never told anyone about it either, just a handful of people I know who are close to me.
I’m now at a point in my life where I want to revive that childhood dream and actually write a novel and become a published writer.
I’ve been writing on this blog since last year in August and again I’ve never gone public with my family and Facebook friends officially but I guess that’s what I’m doing now.
I’m new, I get that I may not be the best writer as English wasn’t my strongest point at school but I’m writing and loving it. Surely that is what matters right?
So I guess this is it for me going public!
I really hope I can count on everyone with their support and will follow my journey!

I can’t wait to follow your progress with this. It may even give me the push I need to work more on my own writing.

Start writing. The more you write, the better you become at writing. You have an interesting journey ahead of you. I began with non-fiction writing and after a decade started writing fiction. Now I write more fiction- short stories, and novels. Talent helps. However, hard work trumps talent every time.

Well done on finally taking that leap forward. I had the idea for a book mull around in my head for 20 years. I started writing it 7 years ago and it is finally going to be published. I signed the contract just 3 months ago and it is in the early editing stages. My tip: Just discipline yourself, to write at least an hour a day. If you are unable to write on the book (Because your creativity is not there) write about something else. Just write 🙂 I wish you all the best of luck on this new path,

I’ve written a whole book before, but unfortunately, I lost that laptop and my book. I’ve been wanting to write since, but just can’t bring myself to start writing just yet. Best of luck and much success as you embark on this adventure.
